As a new business, one of our many goals at Atlas is to protect and enhance the quality of life within our local community.  Since opening our doors in March of 2015, Atlas has; hosted fundraising events to enhance educational resources, participated in efforts to improve the overall health and well-being of area residents, engaged local agriculture and business, and contributed gifts in kind to various youth programs.  Atlas is pleased to announce we will be continuing our community efforts by supporting local news source, The Ithaca Voice, as they launch their “Spotlight on Ithaca” project!

Unlike typical fundraising campaigns, the “Spotlight in Ithaca” project raises funds for a 5-part investigative story series by offering donors incentives in the form of cost saving “perks”.  Donors will not only be supporting The Ithaca Voice with their gift, they will also be able save twice as much as they give at the participating sponsor business of their choice.  Plus, all donors will be invited to vote on the proposed story series to ensure the voice of the community it heard.

As one of the select businesses participating in the program, Atlas will be supporting The Ithaca Voice by donating as many as 250 perks to The Ithaca Voice, who will then offer the perk to campaign donors.  Each Atlas perk is worth $20 off any purchase of $55 or more, and can be obtained by donating just $10 to The Ithaca Voice during the “Spotlight on Ithaca” campaign.  Atlas is proud to sponsor a local organization we have come to depend on for breaking news, and excited to offer our customers the chance to double their donation in savings in return for their mutual support!  For more information about how the program works we encourage you to check out our listing on the “Spotlight on Ithaca” webpage.
