Atlas Named 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year

Atlas is the proud recipient of The Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  Atlas received this distinguished award as recognition for their investment in the Trumansburg community, and continued commitment to growth through local collaboration and partnerships within neighboring Finger Lakes area communities such as Ithaca, Hector, Ovid, Burdett, Interlaken, Ulysses, Geneva, and Watkins Glen.

The Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of three annual awards on January 17, 2017 including: Entrepreneur of the Year, awarded to Atlas Bowl; Distinguished Business of the Year, award to Rosie Applications;  and Non-Profit of the Year, awarded to Cinemapolis.

Atlas is honored to be recognized by The Chamber of Commerce, and extends sincere congratulations to fellow award winners Cinemapolis and Rosie Applications.  Cinemapolis’ dedication to the cinema arts is, and has been, unparalleled for 30 years, while Rosie Applications’ success and growth provides new jobs, technology and community support.

“We are proud to be part of the local hospitality and small business communities because these are the organizations that create memories for our friends and neighbors, attract visitors, supplement the local economy and enhance our quality of life” said Todd Parlato, Owner and Operational Manager of Atlas.  “None of this could have been accomplished without the dedication and support of the entire staff and I am incredibly grateful to everyone on our team, many of whom have been with Atlas since our doors opened.”
